Job Description:
Prepare and cook authentic Indian cuisine while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. The Indian Cook will be responsible for daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes (North & South Indian, curries, breads, rice dishes, etc.)
- Ensuring food quality, taste consistency, and proper presentation
- Managing food preparation, seasoning, and cooking processes
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene according to food safety standards
- Assisting with menu planning and ingredient preparation
- Monitoring stock levels and minimizing food waste
- Working closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Requirements:
- Portugal TRC Holder
- Knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Proven experience as an Indian Cook or similar role
